Poonch Collaboration with Indiahikes
Yasin M Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, has collaborated with Indiahikes, a well-known organization for trekking, to encourage tourism and trekking.
Indiahikes as part of this collaboration, in late August, it will sort out a trek to the Seven Lakes from Chandimarh which is hoped to draw trekkers worldwide.Showing hopefulness about this collaboration, the Poonch Deputy Commissioner requested the public to make the most of this chance and reserve their trek in advance by visiting Indiahikes.com.Also, he expressed his thankfulness to the head of Indiahikes, Nityam Nachappa, for accepting the plan and collaborating with the local authorities to encourage regional trekking.
In the region, the Seven Lakes trek is a famous trekking route that provides out of this world view of the adjoining valleys and mountains. This teamwork between Poonch district administration and Poonch Development Authority is hoped to boost areas’ tourist footfall and offer the much-needed enhancement to the local economy.
Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Chief Executive Officer Poonch Dev. Authority, said that trek will be managed by the head of Indiahikes, Izzat Yaganagi, and will be coordinated by Suha Saya, Nithyam and Nitish.The locals are quite thrilled about the declaration and have showed their appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner for encouraging tourism.
