On 13 May this year, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami gave away the Hospitality and Tourism Excellence Award to entrepreneurs and businessmen related to the tourism segment in a program organized by a news channel. 

On this event, the Chief Minister also honored the Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari and
Sushant Patnaik for his involvement in the arena of environment and forest for improved synchronization
with several tourism entrepreneurs and involvement in active promotion of public benefit systems via media.

It is not an unknown fact that the whole of Uttarakhand is a place of attraction when it comes to tourism and a lot of works are being carried out to link the state through numerous routes. Accompanied by tourism, there are countless options in adventure tourism among other tourism actions in Uttarakhand.

Because of the excellent natural beauty of the state, there are huge prospects of tourism, business and
trade. The groundwork for the ropeway from Hemkunt Sahib and Gaurikund to Kedarnath has been done,
because of which, the trip would be relaxed in the impending days. Travelers can reach Char Dham from Rishikesh in much less time compared to the times before constructing year-round roads and also the
building of Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line.
