CMV launches world’s first all vegan cruise
Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV) has launched what it claims is the world’s first ocean cruise for vegans.
The seven-night trip will travel to the Norwegian Fjords and alongside a meat-free menu it will feature a wellness programme including yoga and pilates.
CMV is partnering with Vegan Travel on the cruise, which will also cater to those on a raw, gluten-free or macrobiotic diet.
Daytime activities are in keeping with the theme and the company has said it may include sessions on topics such as vegan toothpaste and vegan cheese making.
The cruise will take place on CMV’s new ship Columbus, which took its first voyage this July. The liner has capacity for 1,400 passengers and features two swimming pools, a gym, an outdoor cinema and five restaurants.
