Star Alliance, is delighted to announce that Theo Panagiotoulias has been elected to become its next CEO.
With more than 25 years of international experience in the airline, Mr. Panagiotoulias performs as Senior VP for Global Sales and Alliances since 2014 in Star Alliance.
Scott Kirby, CEO of United Airlines and Chairman of the Star Alliance Chief Executive Board shared on behalf of the board of Star Alliance that he would like to send best wishes to Theo for being named the next CEO of Star Alliance.
He additionally states that Theo’s international commercial experience makes him efficient in a good understanding of the demanding situations in their company. He also admits that Theo is the right person to lead Star Alliance into the future.
Mr. Panagiotoulias affirms that Star Alliance connects the world and more than 200 million customers fly with its 26 member airlines each year, on more than 16,000 flights each day.
He then exclaims that he wishes to continue to innovate Star Alliance as the world’s leading airline alliance.
