Saudi tourism recognizes seven activities needing permits

The Ministry of Tourism in Saudi has recognized seven activities needingdistinctivelicenses, comprising tourism housing facilities, and their administration.

Those who violate the requirements would belevied a monetaryfine of a projected SR1 billion ($266,617) or the dissolution of the facility altogether.

In February, the Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Khatibsaid that the Kingdom’s tourism expenditureincreased 93 percentlast year, reaching SR185 billion, surging from SR95.6 billion in 2021.

The Kingdom continues its determinations to expand its economy in keeping with Vision 2030.
