Indonesia ministry speaks about full support for Istiqlal Foodtruck Bazaar

The Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) ministry has spoken about their complete backing for this year’s Istiqlal Foodtruck Bazaar. It has been held in order to revitalize the economy and provide more work opportunities.

Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy said that this is the outcome of a teamwork among the ministry and Jakarta Foodtruck Community in addition to Istiqlal Mosque.

Beforehand, Minister Uno said the same thing at the Sapta Pesona Building in Jakarta.

The culinary bazaar is being organized at the VIP parking area of Plaza Al-Fatah Istiqlal Mosque, Central Jakarta, from April 1–18 this year. The bazaar will stay open right from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. home time.

Uno said that the food market doings are aiming to gain advantage of the fasting month due to a predictable rise in earnings during Ramadhan till the Eid festival.

Uno said that this takes benefit of the prospects during the month of Ramadhan, with the level of utilization increasing. Besides taking pleasure in the food truck fiesta, bazaar guests can even get entertained with the help of a musical show from April 1–10.

Minister Uno requested the people of Jakarta and its environs to come to Istiqlal Mosque and shop at the bazaar.
